Action moves at the CS Ranch as Limited Open & Youth Champions conquer the European titles

It was all about action this morning in Givrins when riders rode for the NRHA $500 added European Affiliate Limited  Open Championship and NRHA approved SVAG CS Classic $500 added Limited Open ancillary class

Petra Van Ede of The Netherlands took home her second Limited Open European Championship riding Betcha Boots Whiz (Topsail Whiz x Special Dose) for owner Jeanette Versendaal – V Welsum’s.

Petra had infact earned the title in 2008 aboard Little Smart Jameen.

Yesterday the Dutch rider and her mount had earned the reserve championship in the Intermediate Open EAC. “This horse is sweet, honest and my best friend!”, said Petra about the nine-year-old sorrel stallion she has had in training for a little over a year. “When I got here I hoped to win.. I did and he gets all the credit fori t!”. Van Ede tied for reserve honors in the NRHA Limited Open.
The EAC Reserve Limited Open Championship went to Miriam Gensicke, also from The Netherlands.


Gina Mariz & Pleasepassthegin - 2011 NRHA EA Youth 13 & Under Champions

Riding Lil USS Peppy (Lil Ruf Peppy x USS Enterprise) for owner Paul Van Hooft, Miriam scored a 213.5. Following a three-way tie for first place in the Limited Open, riders decided to run off for first place. Italian Max Canu posted a 221, the highest score recorded from the beginning of the show, and won the class riding Fabio Sentinelli’s eight-year-old stallion Bank That Shine (Twice As Shiney x Reminics Topsister). Benjamin Willersinn (AUT) and BMS Smokin Frisco (Friscote x Manuelita Gun Smoke) owned by Gabriele Ellensohn tied for second place with Van Ede and Betcha Boots Whiz.


Alissa Leloux & Smart Little Jameen - 2011 NRHA EA Youth 14-18

The NRHA EAC Youth 13 & Under and the Youth 14-18 were run class in class. It was a two-peat for young Gina Maria. Last year she won the Youth 13 & U aboard Poco Ruf Peppy, this year she did it again riding ARC Pleasepassthegin (Chic Please x Gallo N Gin), a ten-year-old gelding owned by Corinna Schumacher, after posting a 214. “I really wanted to win and I gave it all I had!”, said the young rider from Switzerland who also won the NRHA ancillary class and topped it all off by claiming the reserve championship in both the EAC and ancillary with a score of 213 riding RS Esplendidos Olena (Spat Olena x RS Cheerry Miss Jac), also owned by Corinna Schumacher.
Alissa Leloux and her ten-year-old gelding Little Smart Jameen (Smart Little Egger x Miss Rojo San) were crowned NRHA EA Youth 14-18 Champions, and also won the ancillary class, after scoring a 217.5 following an impressive run. “When we went in the pen I only had one thought on my mind: I wanted to win!”, said the 16-year-old rider from The Netherlands who trains with Cira Baeck.

Niels Dutij of The Netherlands and his Bo Knows Hollywood (Hollywood Eightysix x Bo Betty Price) landed on the second step of the podium earning the EA Youth 14-18 Reserve Championship and the ancillary class second place with a score of 213.5.
